This craftsman style home is located on a large, country-feeling lot in the hills of San Francisco. The house had remained unchanged since its original construction in the early 1900s. The project was a complete restoration with a focus on retaining the feel of the original home. The work was carefully done to preserve the two full masonry fireplaces that could not be replaced if removed. The end product included fun features inspired by the young family owners. A brightly painted kitchen, monkey bar swinging lights in the lower hall and a contemporary master bathroom add a special touch to this home.
