Biography
As the third generation Rasmussen in construction, I was introduced to the business in a small plumbing shop in San Francisco on the weekends. Working side by side with my father, I learned the building business from the bottom up. We did kitchen remodels to restaurant remodels and then onto building new homes in Marin County. As a teenager, my job was to keep the job site clean and to haul the lumber up the hills. I remember those days well. It was not until I tried a few years of academia that I realized how much working in construction is my true calling.In the mid-70's the patience and experience my father had to offer, along with my youth and enthusiasm, formed a successful partnership which was the start of D. V. Rasmussen & Son. I will never forget the years of building with my father and what he taught me. Honesty and integrity in business are the most important things.
Today, D. V. Rasmussen & Son continues it's tradition of a workplace that focuses on pride and skill to create a product that is superior. Our team of dedicated professionals are here to serve our clients in the most personal and conscientious way possible.
